Build a résumé with Résumé Builder, or upload a résumé file to Resume Central® so it can be searched by employers (if you so authorize).
Build an online portfolio in Career Portfolio Central® to support your résumé and demonstrate your best work to employers.
Review your job search history. Report offers/hires.
Receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
Gain access to announcements, upcoming events, career advice documents, career advice videos, podcasts, and career articles from over 125 authors.
Las Positas College is promoting specific Work-Based Learning educational opportunities such as Internships, Job Shadowing, Field Trips, Externships, and Mentoring.
At this time, Las Positas College is not advertising Job Placement opportunities (only Work-Based Learning educational opportunities). INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS TO REGISTER ON THE COLLEGE CAREER NETWORK (CCN) SO THEY CAN SEARCH INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
2. Upper menu "Students"
3. In the box, click "Sign Up" to register (Required: W #, password, and some contact/background student info)
4. To search internships once you've registered, from the Student Page, on the left click "Search My School's Jobs" (even though it's just internships)
and scroll down to click the "Paid Internship" box, then the "Begin Search" button. (To narrow a search by major, etc. you can select - though I recommend searching all internships; sometimes employers in a certain industry have internships that appeal to a wider group of students)
5. All available internship postings should be viewable. Click for full details and info on how to apply.
